You, Yes You, Can Leave a Legacy!
Each phase in life brings changes in the way we view the future. There are individuals who desire to leave a lasting imprint and others who do not see themselves as the type that would, or even could, leave a legacy.
Leaving a significant hallmark at The Catholic University of America is easier than you may think. For example, including just a few sentences in your will or trust, donating appreciated securities, naming Catholic University as a beneficiary designation, or giving through your donor-advised fund can make a big impact on the lives of future Catholic University students.
If you were given an opportunity to give more, would you?
While you are pondering that question, we invite you to meet a few of the members of the University’s St. Thomas Aquinas Society who used a few of the easiest planned giving vehicles to do just that!
Ann C. Fitzgerald, B.A. ’88
Ann’s unrestricted bequest intention will support the University’s greatest needs.
Jude Franklin, B.E.E.’65, M.E.E.’68, Ph.D.’80, and Mary F. Franklin, B.A.’65, B.S.N.’80
Jude and Mary’s many gifts of appreciated stock have benefited the Dean’s funds in the School of Engineering and Conway School of Nursing.
Brian Kennedy, B.A.’83, J.D.’92
Brian’s beneficiary designation of a percentage of his IRA will benefit the University’s men’s and women’s lacrosse teams.
Luis Alberto Ambroggio, Ph.D., S.T.B.’69, M.A.S.T.’70, M.A.’73
Gifts through his donor-advised fund support an annual Hispanic studies graduate conference and The Luis Alberto Ambroggio Scholarship for Study Abroad.
As we approach the final phase of the Campaign’s $400 million goal, The St. Thomas Aquinas Society is on track to represent 20% of this total — that’s $80 million!
